As the South African Communist party we dip our banner in honor of this fallen dedicated cadre of our movement, a revolutionary and a communist who serves and lead unconditionally the communist party in this province. He died loving the work of our party and that of the movement as a whole this fact is proven by his revolutionary passion and consciousness to humbly contribute to the social transformation of our society at economic, social and political level.

We dip our banner as the Communist Party not because we cry, but to honor your indomitable spirit that will never falter. We know you for your inestimable service that you rendered to the cause that we fight for, we honor you for that inestimable service to be in the midst of all our fallen heroes who fought and dies for human dignity. Your death shall always give us a courage to fight for a socialist South Africa.

Together with you we always talked about the possibilities of socialism in our life time as an ideal and rational system. This ideal of fighting for egalitarian society and equitable world order is what we shall remain fighting for as Communists. We shall continue to adopt deft maneuvers to change the despicable world order that consign the working class to tormenting poverty, indignity and social inequality.

The palpable class exploitation remains real in our country with the vestiges of racial and gender oppression that can not be resolved with out us deepening the class struggle in our country to consolidate the NDR and struggle for a socialist South Africa that is not only possible , but necessary.

The needs of our people will remain the guarding thread to us which is delivery of basic services with out regard of ability to pay remains the ideals that we shall uphold to roll back the tyranny of the capitalist market. This shall be laced with the propagation of our party ideology in the mass of our people. We shall defiantly defend the gains of our revolution by engaging in an ideological battle as you did for dignity of our people, democracy and equality.

With tenacity and political confidence we shall accomplish,
We shall remember you with love,
A symbol will never die, but will multiply
