SACP Limpopo message of condolences on the death of Chief Rudzani Herold Sinthumule

15 January 2021

The South African Communist Party (SACP) in Limpopo Province sends its condolences to the family of Chief Rudzani Herold Sinthumule.

Chief was a member of Makhado Local Municipality Council. His contribution was immense and recognised by the community. He always invited ward councillors to freely and proactively discuss and deal with issues of service delivery. Education was his priority, and thus had a programme of visiting schools at the beginning of each year which he always ensured to honour.

Chief was a respected leader. There were 10 villages under his leadership. He encouraged all residents to apply for and acquire full ownership of their plots and land. He was also welcoming to all civil society organisations and political formations in Sinthumule and encouraged unity among residents at all times.

The SACP in Limpopo calls upon the people, in particular the working class and poor, to strengthen their unity and deepen the national democratic revolution. The struggle for land ownership, in particular collective ownership, is justified and must be intensified in line with the struggle to end the exploitation of one by another.
