Resolution on Fundraising and Financial Management

1. Noting the improvements in the management of the SACP`s finances
2. Noting the increased fundraising capacity of the SACP
3. Noting the increased budget and proposed programme of the SACP for 2005 and beyond
4. Noting the vision of the SACP to achieve power in society on behalf of the working class and the poor
5. Noting the commitment to cadre development and party building

Resolves

1. That each branch that has not paid its R2,500 for registration at this Congress must do so by the end of 2005
2. All structures will prioritise fundraising activities and events as per the decision of the 2004 Augmented CC
3. All members will pay the required membership levy of the SACP for 2005, including any arrears
4. All structures will report and account for the SACP resources as per the policy of the SACP.
