The South African Communist Party (SACP) in the Brian Bunting District (Cape Metro) wishes to convey our deepest condolences to the family of Comrade Monde Mabandla, who passed away on 13 July 2017. Comrade Monde was the Chairperson of the Alex Laguma Sub-District, an Umkhonto we Sizwe combatant as well as a former councillor in the City of Cape Town.

The SACP in the Brian Bunting District received the sad news of the passing of Comrade Monde during the course of our recent 14th National Congress. We convey our heartfelt condolences to Comrade Monde's family, friends and Comrades.

As the SACP, we wish them strength during this difficult period.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.
