SACP Gauteng Province`s Qina Msebenzi/Tia Mosomi Election Campaign enters the crucial Siyaqoba Election Phase
22 April 2014
SACP GAUTENG PROVINCE is intensifying its Qina Msebenzi/Tia Mosomi Election Campaign this week in line with the ANC`s Siyaqoba election phase. The Campaign is in full swing across all the five districts in the Gauteng province.
This morning, the SACP PEC members led the election blitz targeting the industrial proletariat in key industrial sites distributing ANC election Manifesto. The election blitz in industrial areas will continue during lunch and afternoon rush hour when workers knock off from work. These activities will be sustained until the last hours before voting on the 07th May 2014.
Since its launch on the 22nd February 2014, the Campaign moved from one District to another. Following the successful implementation of the Campaign in all the Districts and good lessons learned, the Campaign is now running concurrently in all the Districts.
Workers remain loyal to the ANC as their only National Liberation Movement
The factory-to-factory Campaign has thus far been a resounding success with workers pledging their historic loyalty to the African National Congress.
The SACP is deeply encouraged by the high level of worker`s revolutionary consciousness about the ANC as their most historic national liberation movement, the movement of the overwhelming majority of Africans in particular and Black people in general. Workers continue to dismiss with contempt attempts to alienate them from the ANC and the rest of the historically oppressed people.
Workers are also conscious of a series of endless manoeuvres and desperate reactionary attempts by a coalition of Imperialist sponsored forces to severely weaken the ANC as a revolutionary movement.
The SACP is deeply pleased by the determination of workers to defend the ANC as a revolutionary movement biased to the working class, which is the leading class that represent the overwhelming majority of the historically oppressed people.
Following direct interaction with workers as the most advanced layer of the revolutionary and militant class, we are confident that the ANC will win the province of Gauteng and nationally with a decisive electoral majority.
Workers pledged to do it for Madiba and Chris Hani led by President Jacob Zuma.
