SACP Mpumalanga Statement on Red October 2003 Programme

The South African Communist Party ( SACP ) in Mpumalanga Province together with its allies and communities will be taking forward the Red October 2003 programme in the form of various campaigns and activities including the planned picketing that will be held as follows

Date: Friday 24 October 2003

Time: From 12:00 to 15:00

Venue: Starting from Lombard street to Charl cilliers street, Standerton

This activity will take forward our campaign to transform the financial sector completely and pushes for the implementation of the August 2002 NEDLAC Summit resolutions. We are aiming at putting pressure on financial sector to begin to invest in the previously disadvantage communities and put better infrastructure in those townships.
