Free State SACP Provincial Congress Blade Nzimande 

To Deliver Keynote Address

The South African Communist Party in the Free State Province will hold its
3rd Provincial Congress this weekend. The General Secretary of the SACP,
Comrade Blade Nzimande, will deliver the Keynote Address to the Provincial
Congress as detailed below.

DATE : Saturday, 13 October 2001

TIME : 10h00 - 11h00

VENUE : Tikwe Lodge, Virginia, Free State

The Congress will start at 08h00 on Saturday and will continue until lunchtime on Sunday, 14 October. This Congress takes place on the eve of the SACP's Red October Campaign and the NEDLAC Summit on the Financial Sector. It also takes place in the immediate aftermath of the mass mobilisation against privatisation led by COSATU and supported by the SACP.

The Congress will discuss how to take forward the Campaign to Make Banks
Serve the People focusing on the public meetings planned for 10 and 11
November.
