THE SACP General Secretary Blade Nzimande Visits Limpopo Province

The SACP General Secretary Blade Nzimande will visit Limpopo province On the 19th and 20th April 2002. His visit is part of marking the 9th Anniversary Commemorative events for the late SACP general Secretary Comrade Chris Thembisile Hani, who was assassinated in 1993 by a right-wing forces murderer Junuz Waluz.

The SACP General Secretary will address the Provincial Council, which is taking place on the 20th April at Mokopane College of Education . His address will cover the outcome of the Alliance Summit, which was held Recently in Kempton Park Johannesburg, on how to close ranks within the Alliance in working towards successful eradication of the legacy of Apartheid, more especially poverty. Furthermore the address will focus on The Middle East situation involving Palestine and Israel.

In view of the fact that the SACP has declared April as a Health month, Through the Chris Hani Health Trail Campaign, Blade Nzimande will visit Mkopane Hospital in Polokwane to asses the state of health service in the Province. This is part of the SACP's callfor a strong public health sector. The SACP will as well visit two co -operatives, as part of its call for the building of people's power and People's economy to meet basic needs. The two co -operatives initiatives are in Carpricorn and Sekhukhune districts respectively. Finally, the SACP General Secretary will address the Provincial launch of (FOCUS) Friends Of Cuba Society, in Polokwane.
