Mpumalanga 6th Provincial Congress

The South African Communist Party (SACP) Mpumalanga Province is to hold a Provincial Congress. The Congress is part of the SACP provincial congresses preceding the SACP National congress to be held in July of 2007.
The Provincial Congress is expected to be addressed by our provincial Alliance structures, the Young Communist League (YCL) and SACP Central Committee members deployed to the province.
Amongst issues to be discussed by the congress is the SACP Central Committee discussion document on the SACP’s relationship to state power.
Comrade Gwede Mantashe, a member of our Central Committee will deliver the keynote address.
