SACP Gauteng Province on track for its 10th Provincial Congress to be held from the 23rd-25th March 2012, Kempton Park Civic Centre
SACP Gauteng Province celebrates its successful completion of the four (4) out of its five (5) District Congresses, with the last one held on the 18th February 2012 in Yusuf Dadoo District.
By successfully holding the District Congresses, the Province is now firmly on track to convene its 10th Provincial Congress to be held in Oupa Phasha District, Kempton Park Civic Centre from the 23rd-25th March 2012. As we prepare for the Provincial Congress, we will also be consolidating our work in the Greater Tshwane District, which is still expected to hold its elective Congress.
The 10th Provincial Congress will be attended by our newly established Voting District Branches following the resolutions of the 12th National Congress held in July 2007,and reaffirmed by the those of the 2nd Special National Congress held in December 2009.
We are deeply pleased that after two years of communist hard work following the directive of the Central Committee in February 2010 seeking to ensure that the Congress resolutions are indeed implemented, our province is now ready to convene a Congress on the basis of VD Branches.
We are further pleased that in all our District Congresses, leaders were elected without any contest, signalling the highest level of communist unity and maturity currently prevailing in our province.
It is in this context that we announce the election of the following Office Bearers elected in the four (4) most successful District Congresses held to date.
