SACP Limpopo welcomes Limpopo Premier`s resignation

15 July 2013

The South African Communist Party Limpopo Province welcomes the long resignation of Limpopo Premier Mr Cassel Mathale. The decision paves way for the Limpopo Provincial Government to be more focused in terms of fulfilling the ANC led Alliance mandate to deliver services with speed and efficiency to the rural poor and the working class masses.

The SACP would like to salute the people of Limpopo Province for their relentless support to the efforts of the Tri-Partite Alliance and the Mass Democratic Movement in putting pressure against public office bearers who do not prioritise Batho Pele and Good governance, thus allowing the public resources under state control to be wasted and abused through maladministration and corruption. The SACP calls upon our people to continue to be firm in fighting against corruption in the public service and the private sector. The SACP will continue to be at the forefront of these campaigns within all spheres of society.

The SACP is looking forward to a new Premier who would champion an ANC led Alliance programme to fight against unemployment, poverty and inequality with vigour and commitment to the working class.
