SACP Gauteng calls on workers and the poor to defend and vote for the African National Congress (ANC)
30 April 2016
The SACP GAUTENG PROVINCE concluded a successful Provincial Political and Ideological Commission today held at the Oupa Phasha District, City of Ekurhuleni.
The SACP 2nd Deputy General Secretary Comrade Solly Mapaila delivered a memorial lecture on the revolutionary life of the late SACP General Secretary, Comrade Chris Hani.
The SACP’s Political and Ideological Commission is the party’s platform for enhancing and improving the ideological and theoretical development of members of the SACP.
The delegates at the Commission made a clarion call on the working class particularly the proletariat and the poor, to defend the African National Congress (ANC).
The Commission also reaffirmed the ANC as the only revolutionary movement capable of advancing the social, political and economic interests of the working class and the overwhelming majority of the historically oppressed people.
The Commission further resolved that it is even more urgent for the workers and the poor to defend their hard won democracy, their National Democratic Revolution and its achievements against the threat of being stolen by the Neo-Nazi EFF and Verwoedian- DA.
We call on workers to join the celebration of the International Workers Day in Mamelodi, Tshwane tomorrow.
A victory for the ANC is a victory against anarchy and a victory for the Workers and the Poor.
