Wednesday, 25 September 2024: - The South African Communist Party (SACP) congratulates Abdelmadjid Tebboune for his overwhelming victory in the recent Algerian presidential elections where the people once again showed confidence in his leadership.

Receiving an overwhelming victory in the elections, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune will continue to, among others, lead the Algerian people in championing the anti-colonial struggle, particularly in support of the people of Western Sahara in their quest for independence from colonial Morocco.

The SACP sends its great wishes to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and the people of Algeria.
