Limpopo to host 2007 ANC national conference

President Thabo Mbeki says the ANC has chosen Limpopo as the host of next year's national conference because its members put people first. Mbeki was speaking at a SA Communist Party (SACP0 gathering in Polokwane yesterday.

His comments came a day after a group of people staged a walk-out during his address at the reburial ceremony of ANC stalwart Moses Mabhinda in Pietermaritzburg on Saturday.

The national conference will be held at the University of Limpopo outside Polokwane in December next year.
