To the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the South African Communist Party (SACP) comrade Blade Nzimande Dear comrade! All-Russian political organization Communists of Russia (CR) extends heartfelt greetings to all communists of South Africa on the 90-th anniversary of the founding of South African Communist Party. Heroic struggle of SACP for dozens of years remained an outstanding example for communists across the world and a beacon of people’s revolution in Africa.
Communists of Russia fondly remember and hold in high esteem the names of Moses Kotane, Moses Mabhida, Chris Hani, Joe Slovo, Bram Fischer and other heroes of your party and the entire international communist and national liberation movement. Without doubt, the victory over apartheid would be impossible to achieve without the daily work and struggle of the South African Communist Party.
A group of delegates from Communists of Russia organization led by comrade Sergei Malinkovich was attending the XVII World Festival of Youth and Students in South Africa in December 2010, and witnessed the significant progress made by left forces of South Africa on the path of the people’s democratic revolution.
All-Russian political organization Communists of Russia was registered by the Justice Ministry of Russian Federation in 2009 and has branches in 53 regions of Russia. Communists of Russia have deputies in several regional parliaments and many representatives in the municipal self-government bodies. Communists of Russia work closely with the Young Communist League of Russian Federation (SKM RF) and with the Communist Youth Union of Russia (Komsomol), registered by the Justice Ministry of Russian Federation in 2011.
Communists of Russia hold a sincere hope for strengthening of cooperation between CR and SACP. We wish further successes to your party and to your ally, the African National Congress of South Africa!
Long live the SACP! Long live the worldwide workers revolution! Death to imperialism!
