To the South African Communist Party
Comrades:
On the eve of the 90th anniversary of the founding of the South African Communist Party, the Galizan People`s Union (UPG) sends its fraternal greetings to your leadership and members.
Only with a strong commitment to and firm roots in the masses, working for the people, can a Party stand the test of time for so long. Forged in the struggle and sacrifice for unity which eventually brought down the criminal racist regime, a dictatorship which held the majority of the population in its bloody grip.
We, the patriotic communists of Galiza, that westernmost European nation, fighting for the right to self-determination for our people within the Galizan Nationalist Bloc (BNG) patriotic front, congratulate you on the path you have trodden and salute the new South Africa that you are building, an endeavour fraught with difficulties but which we are sure you will overcome with the backing of your people and with Socialism as your guiding light.
We wish you all the best for your anniversary celebrations and take this opportunity to express our readiness to initiate relations in order to reinforce mutual understanding of the work we carry out in our respective nations which, despite the distances which separate us, remain united in our struggle towards Socialism.
