Lebanese Communist Party

27 July 2011

Dear Comrades
in the leadership of the South African Communist Party

In the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the establishment of your party, the Lebanese Communist Party forwards its utmost salutation to your party in its long path for struggle. We bow in respect to the sacrifices of the female and male martyrs that fell in the confrontation against the capitalist and apartheid powers. It is these martyrs that have secured victory for your people, and we wish you on this occasion plenty more victories in the march for progress in your country.

Dear Comrades,
Your party was born in the midst of the struggle with the apartheid regime, and was baptized with the blood of the mine workers. Your party remained always at the forefront of those powers struggling for progressive change; and succeeded in collaboration with the African National Congress and the Unions (COSSATU) in delivering a final deadly blow to the apartheid regime thereby succeeding in building a democratic South Africa.

Dear Comrades,
On this important occasion, we reassert to you that the friendship bonds that unite us will forever prevail; and we shall always stand side by side in all the struggles and confrontations that the people of the world are undertaking in defense of their freedom and dignity and against all forms of divisions, wars and exploitation. We shall stand side by side struggling to bring down the international capitalist regime and replacing it with a socialist regime which will finally secure equality between the people and ensure peace, progress and leisurely lives for all of mankind.
