The South African Communist Party (SACP) in the Eastern Cape has received with great sadness the news of the passing of Thembile Ebby Mrara, the father of Cde Mzoleli Mrara, SACP Provincial Chairperson. Thembile Ebby Mrara succumbed to death this morning at Dora Nginza Hospital in Port Elizabeth after a long illness at age 89.
We would like to convey our heartfelt condolences to the Mrara family and their loved ones. We can imagine the pain they are going through. May they find strength to go through this difficult moment.
The families, in particular the parents of our leaders play an important role in moulding the leaders we have. They go through the unbearable pain of sacrificing their beloved children to be of the great service to the people. We dip our red banner in mourning the great father and grandfather who played an important role in moulding the leader we have in Cde Mzoleli Mrara.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
