Comrade President!!
On behalf of the 150 000 members of the SACP, I take this opportunity to wish you a Happy 70th Birthday.
The SACP hopes you will use your birthday celebration as a moment to celebrate and reflect on the long road you have travelled in your sterling role as a cadre and leader of our movement and achievements made, as well as on the work lying ahead in our course to build a truly non-racist, non- sexist, democratic and prosperous South Africa, free from exploitation of man by man.
The SACP hopes you will use this moment, the celebration of your 70th Birthday, to reflect on the challenge ahead to build the unity of the movement of our people, to strengthen our government programmes in the five priorities we have identified in the election manifesto of 2009. Let this milestone be a moment of renewal to champion the struggle and deepen the implementation of the National Democratic Revolution!
We wish you years ahead filled with joy, more commitment to our revolutionary goals and good health!!
