The SACP notes measures undertaken by the President in the form of a cabinet reshuffle. We welcome the intervention by the President.
The SACP views the intervention as part of an ongoing effort to strengthen implementation of the ANC led Alliance electoral manifesto and to speed up delivery of basic services to close the widening inequalities in our society, contribute to the eradication of poverty, stimulate the economic growth and create jobs, improve skills development and advance towards a better life for all.
As the SACP we congratulate all comrades who have been given new responsibilities and we express our deepest thanks to those comrades who served with dedication in the National Executive. Their contribution will always be cherished by generations to come.
