SACP Central Committee To Hold Its Ordinary Meeting

The Central Committee of the SACP will hold its ordinary meeting from the 22nd to the 23rd May 2009. The meeting will be the first of its kind since the conclusion of the elections campaign.

The meeting will receive the Political Report which will focus on assessing the elections campaign and deal with the challenges and tasks facing the working class in the wake of the electoral victory of the ANC. The meeting will further receive a report that will be focused on the state of the organisation, conclude discussion on the Deployment and Accountability framework of the SACP and prepare for the National Special Congress that has been brought forward to this year.
