The SACP has learned with disgust that the court case whereby Clive Derby-Lewis will attempt to force the state to grant him parole will sit tomorrow and Wednesday in the Pretoria High Court.
We wish to reiterate our objection to granting of parole to Clive Derby Lewis and any of his co-conspirators for the heinous assassination of our late General Secretary, Cde Chris Hani.
These murderers, who where hell-bent to throw our country into civil war, deserve nothing but to rot in jail.
For their failure to disclose the whole truth in front of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission they deserve nothing else but to rot in jail.
These murderers have never shown remorse nor had the decency to apologise to the nation. Contrary to what Derby-Lewis wants us to believe, parole is not an entitlement.
