The 12th Congress Central Committee of the SACP will convene in its ordinary meeting over the weekend of the 30th May – 01st June 2008 in Johannesburg.
The meeting will receive the political report from the General Secretary which is expected to cover the latest violent attacks against foreign nationals, assess the alliance summit, lay a foundation for discussion towards the SACP Policy Conference and take forward the discussion on the “transitional issues” as we prepare for the 2009 Elections.
The Central Committee will assess the state of the organisation and the extent to which we have been able to implement our campaigns, including our current campaigns against high food, fuel and electricity prices.
