As part of the 15th Anniversary Commemorative events of the cowardly assassination of Cde Chris Hani, the SACP has declared this April month of action against to stop an assault on the ordinary workers and the poor of our country.
Today, we held two successful pickets in Cape Town at the Eskom offices in Belville and one at the Reserve Bank offices in Bloemfontein. Hundreds of our people turned out to these pickets.
A national day of action, held jointly with COSATU, is scheduled to take place as follows:

Time: 11H00
Venue: City Centre, Johannesburg.
The march will leave the City Hall, proceed to Eskom offices in Braamfontein and then to Pick n Pay in Braamfontein.
The General Secretary of the SACP, Cde Blade Nzimande and the Acting President of COSATU, Cde Sdumo Dlamini will be leading the march.
