South African Police Service reservist from all over the country will march tomorrow in Pretoria to hand over a memorandum to President Thabo Mbeki.
The reservist demands an improvement in the working conditions of reservists, renumeration for the work performed by the reservists to support the achievement of the strategic priorities of the South African Police Service and the integrtaion of the reservist into full time service.
To date various reservist have not been paid and this is in direct contradiction to the ammended National Instruction for the South African Police Service which came into effect in April 2006.
