The South African Communist Party (SACP) is to hold a press briefing following its first Central Committee meeting this year 2006.
The Central Committee meeting which started this morning, Friday, 17 February 2006 will discuss among other issues the following:
1) Local government elections
2) ASGI-SA Accelerated Shared Growth Initiative for South Africa
3) Adoption of the SACP 2006 POA
4) International politics with a particular focus on the development in the Latin America, the Middle East and Swaziland.
5) The Jacob Zuma matter and the Alliance
