The Young Communist League of South Africa will meet the youth sections of ZANU-PF and Movement for Democratic Change during the week.
The MDC Youth has confirmed to meet the YCL on Tuesday, 15 March 2005 at COSATU House, whilst discussions with ZANU?PF on when and where the meeting will take place.
The YCL will discuss with both organisations the rapid decline of the economy in the country; the forthcoming elections, violence against youth and by youth and the role that young people should play in the democratisation of Zimbabwe.
We will also expect both organisations to commit themselves in building the future in a country of their own.
The YCL will continue with its demonstrations for political democracy in the Pretoria Embassies of Zimbabwe and Swaziland on the 31st March 2005 , and will join the COSATU organised blockade in Musina.
