SACP central committee to release its statement on Sunday

The Central Committee of the South African Communist Party will release its statement at a Press Conference to be held as follows:

DATE - Sunday, 29 August 2004
TIME - 10h30 to 11h15
VENUE - SACP Head Office Boardroom, 3rd floor, COSATU House, 1 Leyds Street, corner Biccard, Braamfontein, Johannesburg

This will be at the conclusion of the two-day meeting of the SACP CC starting today. The statement will cover:

• Mass action against the financial sector
• SACP campaign on land reform and the transformation of the agricultural sector
• SACP response to Telkom retrenchments
• SACP preparations for Alliance Summit
