SACP to hold Provincial Congresses in Kwazulu Natal & Limpopo this Weekend

Blade Nzimande, General Secretary of the South African Communist Party (SACP), will deliver the keynote address to the Provincial Congress of the SACP being held tomorrow in Pinetown.

Nzimande will address the Congress at 10h00 on Saturday, 21 August 2004. The Congress, to be attended by 300 delegates from 90 branches, will be held att the Edgewood campus of the University of KwaZulu Natal (Margaret Martin Hall, Edgewood campus, Westmead, Pinetown).

The address will cover the following issues:

Meanwhile, the Limpopo Provincial Congress will be opened by George Mashamba, Member of the SACP Central Committee. Mashamba's address will also cover the same issues listed above.

The Limpopo congress will be held at the Main Hall, Mokopane College, Potgietersrus, Limpopo. It will be attended by 266 delegates from 90 SACP branches in the province. The Congress will be concluded with a mass rally to be held on Sunday, 22 August (from 12h00) at the Mokopane College stadium.
