Distribute Umsebenzi and join a Co-operative

Umsebenzi calls on SACP members who qualify in all provinces of the country to submit applications to join the Inkululeko Media and Marketing Co-operative (IMMC).

The IMMC is a new initiative to form a multi-media and marketing co-operative to be owned and operated by its members who will also be workers in the same co-operative. The business activities of IMMC will be to:

• Produce Umsebenzi, the African Communist and other media
• Media distribution of Umsebenzi, the African Communist and other publications
• Generate, collect and submit stories and articles to Umsebenzi and the African Communist
• Produce and distribute progressive merchandise and paraphernalia

Requirements:

• Paid-up and active SACP member in good standing for the last three years (going back to January 2001)
• Unemployed
• Full CV
• Letter of endorsement from an SACP District Secretary and Provincial Secretary
• Individual’s proposal on how they propose to sell and distribute in their locality, district and province, and how they will generate and submit stories for Umsebenzi (the proposal must be typed up and must be between 4 pages or 1600 words and 6 pages 2400 words).
