The Young Communist League, the youth wing of the South African Communist Party (SACP), will be having an elections rally in support of the ANC arranged as follows:
Date: Sunday, 28 March 2004
Venue: Khutsong Stadium Carltonville.
Time: 10h30
The Rally will be addressed by the General Secretary of the National Union of Mineworkers, Cde. Gwede Mantatshe, National Secretary of the YCL Cde. Buti Manamela, Leaders of COSATU, ANC, SACP, ANCYL, SASCO and COSAS.
The Rally will be targetting young people around Khutsong and the whole of Gauteng.
Leaders of the YCL and other structures will respond to questions raised by young people and the community.
We will also be unveilling the YCL message to young people, and the YCL Elections Programme.
The Programme will close with poetry, music and traditional dance.
