Youth Press Conference on the UMSOBOMVU Youth Fund and the 2004 Elections

The Progressive Youth Alliance (PYA) constituted by the South African Students Congress (SASCO), Congress of South African Students (COSAS), Young Communist League (YCL), ANC Youth League, Students Union for Christian Action (SUCA), South African Students Press Union (SASPU), Young Christian Students (YCS) invites you to a Press Conference to be held as follows:

Date: 21 October 2003 (Tuesday)
Venue: 1 Leyds Street, Cosatu House, SACP Boardroom 3rd Floor
Time: 11H00

The Press Conference is a result of a Summit held on the 18 October 2003 at the Parktonian Hotel. The Summit was not attended by the ANC Youth League and SASPU. Similarly they will not attend the Press Conference.

The Press Conference will focus on the following

1. Strategies to strengthen and defend the PYA against tendencies to undermine it.
2. Resolutions on the National Youth Commission, Umsobomvu Youth Fund and the South African Youth Council
3. The National Elections
