The 11th Congress will therefore be an important moment in evaluating progress registered since 1998 and the way forward.

The 11th Congress is historic and important in the life of the SACP and the struggle for socialism in our country. South Africans are looking to the SACP and this Congress, and our alliance as a whole for answers and leadership on the challenges facing our country, said Blade Nzimande, SACP General Secretary.
