SACP Central Committee to Meet 11-12 May 2001

The Central Committee (CC) of the South African Communist Party (SACP) is to hold its second for the year 2001 from Friday, 11 May to Saturday 12 May.

Amongst other issues, the SACP CC will discuss the following:

• Developments in, and the programme of the ANC-SACP-COSATU alliance
• Taking forward the SACP-led Campaign on Banks and other Financial Institutions
• SACP approach and programme to an Anti-Racism Campaign
• Towards SACP Provincial Congresses in 2001 and the National SACP Congress in 2002

This CC meeting will be followed by a Press Conference to be held as detailed below.
