Blade Nzimande in Port Elizabeth Public Meetings

The General Secretary of the South African Communist Party, Blade Nzimande, will address a worker's rally in Port Elizabeth later today as detailed below.

• VENUE : Centenary Hall, New Brighton

His address to this meeting will focus on:

• SACP Report Back to workers on the Campaign to Make Banks Serve the People
• Building and strengthening COSATU unions in the PE area
• Tasks of workers in building Ward Committees and in transforming Local Government to serve the people

Earlier today he was part of a student's march protesting against crime at the Vista University campus in Port Elizabeth. This was followed by an address he made to health workers who are members of NEHAWU at the Livingstone Hospital.
