It is with great sadness that the South African Communist Party (SACP) has learnt of the tragic death of Comrade Parks Mankahlana, the spokesperson in the office of the President of the Republic.
The SACP salutes this hero of our revolution, who from early on in his life dedicated his life and energy to the cause of national liberation through the South African Youth Congress, and the ANC Youth League later on.
Comrade Parks leaves us at a tender age when he still had so much to contribute our revolution. The SACP sends its condolences to Comrade Parks Mankahlana's family, friends, the African National Congress and President Thabo Mbeki.
