South African Communist Party Central Committee Meeting 12-13 August

The Central Committee (CC) of the South African Communist Party (SACP) will hold its second meeting for 2000 from Saturday, 12 August to Sunday, 13 August in Johannesburg.

This meeting will discuss the following issues:

• The strategic policy debate of the SACP Strategy Conference, the ANC NGC and the COSATU Congress
• The current labour law review process
• Local government elections campaign and manifesto
