This is to invite organisations and individuals to join the
SACP at a lunch hour picket against privatisation in South Africa and
Africa as detailed above.
A “Privatisation Africa 2000” Conference will be held in the Crowne Plaza Hotel from 16 to 18 May 2000. The conference will be held under the following themes:
The SACP wishes to picket against this conference and privatisation in South Africa and Africa under the slogans “Africa is not for sale” and “Defend, strengthen and extend the public sector”.
