Listed Union Alliance Media (UAM) on Thursday announced it had appointed Tlhalefang Sekano as its executive chairman. Sekano replaces Philip Dexter who has been appointed National Economic Development and Labour Council (Nedlac) executive director. However, AUM said Dexter will still be involved with it as a non-executive director. Sekano’s appointment is a promotion from his previous position as executive director of Union Alliance Holdings (UAH).
Meanwhile, Mark Sifris has been appointed the executive director of Union Alliance Corporate (UAC), the corporate finance arm of UAH. He however will remain a non-executive director of UAM. Another appointment is that of Makhulu Ledwaba as non-executive director of UAM to replace Sandile Zungu.
