SACP Central Committee Meeting

17th & 18th July 1999

The SACP Central Committee Meeting will be meeting on (17th & 18th July) in JHB.

Amongst the issues to be discussed will be the following:

  1. Assessment of the June 2 elections, the national and provincial executives and implications for the SACP.
  2. The current job losses
  3. Public sector wage negotiations and restructuring

Following the Central Committee, a press conference will be held at:
10th Floor – COSATU House (cnr Leyds & Biccard St., Braamfontein) at 13h30.
