JOHANNESBURG - South African Communist Party (SACP) general secretary Blade Nzimande has slammed the Gupta family again, calling upon members of the party to fight against the influential family.
Nzimande made the comments while speaking at a Chris Hani memorial lecture in Durban on Saturday.
He said the SACP wanted the Guptas' citizenship to be revoked and for a commission of the inquiry into state capture to be instituted.
He added the SACP would have a national imbizo to discuss and correct the crisis in the African National Congress (ANC).
This came shortly after the ANC's Gwede Mantashe said the tripartite alliance was fractured and no longer solid.
Mantashe also took to the stage during the lecture on Saturday.
The alliance consists of the ANC, Congress of South African Trade Unions and the SACP.
