SACP gives reasons for ANC' bad performance in the Local Government Elections

Radio 702 | SACP's Solly Mapaila says internal factionalism, poor ward candidate selections and controversy such as state capture and the ConCourt ruling on Nkandla, were all negative contributing factors in the municipal election results.

JOHANNESBURG - The South African Communist Party (SACP) says the African National Congress (ANC)’s response to allegations, court judgments and economic climates had a huge impact on the election outcome.

According to SACP's Solly Mapaila, the tripartite alliance, which he says is under the ANC banner, must humble itself and turn to community members to better understand their voting decisions.
