Bram Fischer walk signifies social cohesion: Mokotjo

Nthabiseng Mokotjo says the symbolic walk signifies the social cohesion that Bram Fischer implemented in South Africa.(SABC)

More than 3000 people are expected to partake in the Bram Fischer eight kilometre fun walk.

This walk will conclude the week long tribute to the former leader of the South African Communist Party (SACP) and anti-apartheid activist, Bram Fischer.

Mangaung Metro MMC Nthabiseng Mokotjo says their aim now as the province is to expand the walk and to recognise the icon's selfless efforts in the country.

She says the symbolic walk signifies the social cohesion that Bram Fischer implemented in South Africa.
