The latest media reports on the Brett Kebble murder arrest suggest that four people have been granted immunity in exchange for testifying against Glen Agliotti, a prominent businessman.

Agliotti was arrested as the chief suspect in the Kebble murder in Johannesburg yesterday. Agliotti appeared briefly in the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court and will be held at the Sandton police station until his bail application on December 8.

Deal sruck

The Star newspaper reported this morning that the Scorpions have struck a deal with four suspects sought for Kebble's murder, including the man they say pulled the trigger.

It is believed that the four include Clinton Nassif, Kebble's former security expert.

The Scorpions would not confirm or deny reports that businessman Nassif had indeed turned state witness in the case. Nassif has been fingered as having got police to release Kebble's vehicle shortly after he had been shot dead in Johannesburg 14 months ago.

Meanwhile, the newspaper also reports that a senior Johannesburg police officer was arrested last night over the probe.
