SACP Red October Campaign 2016-2017

The South African Communist Party (SACP) in the Province of Moses Mabhida, KwaZulu-Natal, will be hosting the 2016-2017 Red October Campaign Launch. As the province we are honoured to have been given this opportunity to host this very important event in the SACP calendar. To this end we would like to thank our Headquarters for entrusting us with this responsibility.

The Red October Rally will be held as follows:

  • Date: Sunday, 9 October 2016
  • Venue: Kwa-Ndokweni Sports Ground - Inchanga
  • Time: 9h00

The Rally will be attended by all our alliance partners and working class formations as well as communities. The Rally will also be addressed by Comrade Blade Nzimande, the General Secretary of the SACP, the Young Communist League National Secretary Cde Mluleki Dlelanga and the leaders of the alliance.

The Rally will be preceded by the opening of one of the three houses built through the intervention of the SACP in Inchanga.

The SACP invites the media to attend and cover the event.

Lastly, as the SACP in the province we would like to welcome the convening of the 17th World Trade Union Congress that started this morning in Durban, the first ever on the African soil. To this end, we wish all delegates a warm stay and the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) a successful world congress.
