SACP Gauteng holds PEC meeting to reflect on Local Government Elections results
12 August 2016
The South African Communist Party Gauteng Provincial Executive Committee (PEC) will hold a special meeting to reflect on the results of the recent Local Government Elections.
This meeting is a continuation of a preliminary meeting that was held in Johannesburg on Sunday 7 August 2016, which discussed and analysed the poor performance of the ANC, our alliance partner, in the elections. This resulted in the loss of control of three Metropolitan Municipalities in just one election, which constitutes a serious political contradiction.
A press conference which will brief the media on SACP GP's reflections, takes place as follows:
Date: Sunday, 14 August 2016
Venue: 12 New Street South, 5th Floor MASA House, Ghandi Square, ANC PCO
