Statement of the SACP Western Cape 4th Provincial Council
The South African Communist Party (SACP) in the Western Cape, members of the Provincial and District Executive Committees, as well as branch delegates, joined by the Central Committee deployees, converged at Intsebenziswano High in Philippi on the 13th September 2014 in a Provincial Council.
SACP Eastern Cape Provincial Council Statement
The South African Communist Party (SACP) in the Eastern Cape held a successful provincial council on 13th September 2014 at Skenjana Roji Hall in Bhisho under the theme "Working class unity and leadership now".The council was held as part of preparations for the coming SACP Eastern Cape 7th Provincial Congress which will be held on the 24th to 26th September 2014.
Statement on Oscar Pistorius case
The SACP has noted the attention paid nationally and internationally to the Oscar Pistorius case. It would not be correct for us to discuss the details of the case, or the merits and demerits of the verdict.
Statement of the Alliance Secretariat
The Alliance Secretariat met today, Friday 12 September in its regular meeting and discussed organizational and political matters. The meeting also discussed issues pertaining to State Institutions and matters of International Solidarity. The Alliance Secretariat agreed as follows:
